The LG2 is a light box which works with four fluorescent tubes.The internal geometry in combination with a spatial illuminance correction leads to a uniformity of more than 80% for 4:3 charts and more than 90% for 16:9 charts in the D280 format. Standard chart size for the LG2 is also D280. One remarkable feature of the Illuminator is its compact design. It fits even on the smallest laboratory table. An additional frame of solid metal provides high standing stability. The color temperature of app. 5000K can be filtered to values between 2700K and 6600K.
