S2-105DVIA may function as a standalone routingswitcher or as an input expansion module for any of theC2-2000 Scaler/Switchers or Down Converters toprovide five additional DVI-D and Stereo Audio inputs tothose devices. Since the unit is fully HDMI compatibleand HDCP compliant, it can be used with both formats.The S2 Switcher connects to the C2 unit via an OPTION interconnect cable and is fully integrated into the control system of the host C2 unit.
Multiple S2 units of different formats may be interfacedto a single C2 product, however, only one of any givenformat may be connected. The Windows Control Panelrecognizes the C2 unit and all the connected S2 units as a single Multi-format Seamless Switcher. This fullycustomizable approach allows the user to choose theappropriate C2-1000/2000 unit and the S2 Switchers toachieve the desired number of inputs.
S2 Switchers are available in a variety of video formats,with or without Stereo Audio. A Stereo only model is alsoavailable with variable delay. The units are housed indesktop cases and optional Single/Dual Rackmount Kits are available. External power adapters are provided for the S2 units.
Standalone Operation - S2 Series Switchers can alsooperate as standalone Video and Audio RoutingSwitchers. Input selection is by front panel Push Buttons,IR Remote Control or via RS-232.
