Horita SCRIPT KIT Portable Wireless Field Logging System
Script Kit PA Logging Clipboard w/ Software
The Script Kit combines the Horita PTR portable LCD time code reader and
a WTS100M wireless time code system into a powerful, easy to use field
logging system. The units are enclosed in a sturdy anodized aluminum
case mounted on a clipboard that holds pre- printed Script Kit Log
sheets plus your script and other documents inside. The windows- based
PTR-LOG program is included to quickly download into your PC the time
codes captured by the Script Kit.

pre-printed Script Kit Log sheets, software for downloading PTR files,
and RS232 cable.
- The Horita PTR stores up to 50 numbered time code values that can later be recalled for display or downloaded to a PC.
Important Info
The TC reader installed in the Script Kit is the PTR Portable Time Code
Reader. It'll read 23.98/24, 25, and 29.97/30 fps time code.
The bundled PTR software will allow you to save captured time codes and
optionally, associated comments, in a CMX340 format.
The Script Kit is a complete system including an RF transmitter and
receiver. Additional receivers are available. The transmitter and
receiver are OEM'd from a low power wireless mic system. The range of
the units is spec'd at 100 meters line of sight. The degree to which the
range is affected by obstacles such as buildings or walls really
depends on the composition of the obstacle. An hollow interior wall will
impede the signal much less than say a stucco wall full of chicken
wire. RF/ EMI interference may also affect the range. The system
operates in the 169- 171 MHz range and may be affected by other wireless
equipment operating near this band or other harmonic frequency.
