The ETS InstaSnake PA200 Series is a pair of passive units for sending up to four audio signals over a single run of CAT5, 5E or 6 cables.
These extremely compact units, together with a roll of CAT 5 cable, use
little storage space, are light to transport and can solve dozens of
live and/or recording real world sound problems. These passive (no power
required) units are bi-directional and can be input directly into
analog or digital consoles.
Designed to the highest professional standards the InstaSnake has a wide, flat frequency response, low THD and residual noise.
You can mix and match Mic/Line, Line or AES/EBU configurations making
the InstaSnake a versatile high quality solution at very affordable
prices.
The InstaSnake has been factory tested to 1900' over CAT5 using low Z
dynamic microphones. Phantom power tested to 850' over shielded cable.
PA202P with (4) 18" pigtails lets you access the mixer without the need
for an additional 4 microphone cables. PA203 is configured for 3 sends
and 1 return.
